E-mail notifications that Issue is Created by Service Desk Customer

We want to receive notifications when Service Desk Customer created an issue using Service Desk.

In the Notification Scheme there's an event "Issue Created", but it works not only for Issues came from Service Desk Customer, but for all issues created in the project.

Is there any possibility to do it?

Hi Maria,

It's not possible to do that at this time as JIRA will process all issues in the same way through the Noticiation Scheme.

I'd suggest that you setup a different project for the issues that you do not want to get notifications. Making changes to the user roles and editing the current Notification Scheme could also work, but it would require more effort and possibly restricting users in a few ways. Using separate projects would be better.

Thank you very much for your answer. We'd prefer to see the tasks from customer in our existing project rather than create separate one.

Could you please help, what changes we need to do for roles and users?
