Stash Pull Request is not updating automatically

Matt Harasymczuk March 9, 2014

Is there a way to update pull request without having to decline and reopen it?

I have pushed several commits to the feature branch and the pull request (from feature/ISSUE-10-test-branch to develop) seems to be not updated. The commit tab lists commits from 2 days ago. When I decline and reopen the Pull Request updates itself.

I have one month old Stash (currently 2.11.2) with:

  • Workzone
  • Stash Webhook to Jenkins
  • Stash Auto Unaproove Plugin (by Atlassian)

What are you wanting to update in the pull request, Matt?

If you want to update the code in the pull request, you can push new commits to the source branch that you specified when creating the request.

If you want to update the destination branch, title, reviewers, or description, there should be an Edit button in the upper-right near the Merge button.

Yes it was the case. There was a problem with post-receive hook

Matt, check out this guide from Atlassian on possible causes for a pull request not updating. If you post your application-properties/application.xml file from the Support Tools Plugin, I can help look through it as well.

You should just be able to push to the branch the pull request is based off of. Have you tried that?

Yes. The Pull Request is not updated at all. See below, to my answer to Jeff's questions.
