Tempo Teams and JIRA performance

MarkW March 5, 2014

I recently ran into an issue in trying to load a tempo team timesheet and it failed stating

"Could not execute query! Result too big. Check logs for details."

I found that a user added the jira-developers group as a member which included 2700 people.

I know after 100 people it won't show the users as members but are there an limits to how many can be shown on a timesheet?

Hi Mark,

this error ususally appeared when you were trying to view a Timesheets for a long timeperiod. We have released improvements on this behavior in Tempo Timesheets 7.8 and will go on checking and improving permformance issues.

Regarding Team size, the limit is at the moment with 999 members. If you are trying to view a Timesheet with more users, you will receive this error

Kind regards,

Susanne

This is especially problematic if it happens in OnDemand - https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/112862/how-do-i-access-the-atlassian-jira-log-file-in-an-ondemand-system- where you don't get access to the logs.
