I would like to restrict confluence questions by topic to certain groups

Is there a way to restrict confluence topics to groups.  This would allow us to serve the entire organization with this function so only people who have permissions to see a topic can see it.  Currently you can restrict a topic by space but that hardly helps as everyone needs to be able to see all questions.  My specific use case is for partners to only see certain topics and employees to see everything.

Would love to see this feature added.

You should be able to restrict access to CQ to certain groups, as in here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/questions/permissions-407724476.html. 

Users with administrator permissions for your Confluence site can choose to restrict access to Confluence Questions to particular groups. 

However, having private topics is yet to be available. You can watch the threads below:
