SourceTree push refspec is not taken into account

Lewis Diamond February 18, 2014

I have configured my remote's push refspec for remote 'user' to push to refs/users/myusername/heads/* such that `git push user` sends my modification to my userspace on my gerrit server.

It all works well from the command line, but SourceTree doesn't let me use the default push refspec. It always overrides the target branch with a value, doesn't let me push without a defined target branch and makes it increadibly hard for me to actually find out what it actually does.

A solution is obviously a custom button but SourceTree should really honor the push refspec config.
