Are there plans to develop the mobile dashboard further to include full-text searches or to allow modifications, so that, for example, space lists or user favourites can be shown?
Overall, at my company, we are very happy with the flexibilty and ease-of-use provided by Confluence. However, the mobile dashboard -- as it is -- is widely considered to be frustrating and not useful. For us the priorities seem a little odd: Popular, recent blogs and network?!? As one my colleagues remarked: Confluence isn't Facebook. What people at my company want to see are the pages that they and their teams update; they may also want to read their teams' space blogs. But nobody cares what the most popular pages are across entire company, and since most of them work in multiple teams and therefore aren't "following" people , they're not using networks. They use depend on full-text searching and favorites; they watch pages and spaces. But most of all, they want to find the information they need from their mobile device and not just when they're in front of their PCs. These people can live without a lot of macros working in mobile view, but they have trouble accepting that they can't find the, say, 3 plain-ol HTML-style pages they one of their teams uses to track a process or to manage a delivery.
Giving them a dashboard with the simple content-oriented stuff that's under the desktop profile menu would really lift this feature dramatically: stuff like Favorites, Page watches and even Recently viewed. Full-text searching would also be highly desirable.

Hello Michael,
I had a meeting with the team about Confluence mobile. This year we're going to focus on it. We'll have more features and the ability to do more things.
I'd say, stand by for news! :)
Cheers,
WZ

I would like to see this update, too. We have sales people at my organization who need to access our product documentation from anywhere, and it would be handy if the mobile dashboard showed them their favorite spaces. We don't even use the blogs. Like Michael said, this is not Facebook. :) Thanks for looking into this, William.
