Is there any way to use private Atlassian Connect plugin with a self-signed SSL certificate on the plugin server?

Nico Adrian Macarasig February 2, 2014

Hi, I'm currently testing this newly developed plugin in jira. but the problem is, the plugin will always be displayed as an error 404 because atlassian is trying to connect to the plugin via https. We tried adding a self-signed ssl certificate, but it still comes out as error 404. Is there any way to use our plugin with a self-signed SSL certificate on our server? If there is, can you please provide steps on how to do so? Thanks.

No, you cannot use a self-signed certificate for an Atlassian Connect add-on running in a production OnDemand instance.

There is no workaround, and no plan to change this restriction.

Ok. Thank you for the quick response Mr. Seb Ruiz.
