Change plugin URL

Lucas Layman August 31, 2015

Hi,

I apologize for this completely novice question, but I can't find any information on it.

The plugin I have inherited is "separated" in that you click on a main menu button, and then you are taken to a self-contained area where a number of forms and functionality are provided. I have noticed that all links to servlet actions for my plugin point to: jira.baseurl + "/plugins/servlet/<mypage>".

Two questions:

  1. Is there a way to change the /plugins/servlet portion to something more descriptive, e.g., /plugins/myJiraPlugin?
  2. How do I avoid namespace collisions if someone else were to have the same plugin name?

By the way, I am only running this in the atlas-cli for now.

I hope these questions make sense.

Thanks,

Lucas
