Syntax for searching content by author in Confluence

Jeff Berndt August 28, 2015

according to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-2328, confluence users should be able to search content by author. That's great, but I can't find any documentation of the correct search syntax.

If I want to find all the content created by Joe Smith, what do I type in the Search field?

Hi Jeff,

If you are using Confluence 5 then you can use Confluence Search and in BY - Enter author name, space name for searching content by author.

Or you could use the 'Content by User’ Macro - documentation see here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-by-user-macro-182682080.html
