I am not able to find the tooltip functionality when I add a link to an image [!image.png! | linkhere | tooltip ], when I hover it shows the name of the file instead of the text indicated as tooltip
How can the tooltip be added to the image that acts as a link?
I found this today :(

Hi All,
We have had a lot of discussions about tooltips for links over the last couple of weeks. Upon speaking to some of our customers it appears the main use case this is used for is to display additional link information. An example would be for an abbreviation: A user could hover over an abbreviation link and get a description of what the abbreviation was. A large majority of our customers don't use this feature at all.
With this in mind, we don't believe this is the right solution for what most users are after. Users are after a similar solution to the PopView Tooltip Plugin. We recommend users try this plugin, or consider raising new feature request for a similar macro.
I got a workaround from Bill Arconati today and it works fine.
I have to insert the image using wiki markup as follow (insert -> wikimarkup)
!picture.png|title=text for tooltip!
so the link will looks like
[!picture.png|title=text for tooltip!|link url]
that solve the issue and when we have mouse hover the "text for tooltip" is shown instead of the picture name.
Thanks!

I created an issue as bug in Atlassian Confluence to attach a screenshot
