Single Sign On for Jira On Demand, Confluence On Demand, Fisheye Standalone, Crucible Standalone and BitBucket

kgleason December 29, 2013

I'm new to the Atlassian universe and I am about to buy in whole heartedly. Looking at moving SCM to BitBucket, bugs to Jira, PM to Confluence, and code review to Fisheye & crucible in the next month. I was hoping that I could use crowd to provide a single sign on solution for all of these, but it doesn't look like I can use my own Crowd instance for the On Demand products.

I can't seem to find a lot of documentation on this question that doesn't seem to be discussing the new defunct Fisheye On Demand. Is it possible to get some sort of single sign on across the board with these products? For example using a My Atlassian account, or a Google account or something along those lines?

If not, then it looks to me as if I can use the My Atlassian account for BitBucket, Jira OD and Confluence OD, and then a single account for Fisheye & Crucible. Is that correct?

Hi Kirk,

We're still working on getting Atlassian ID to all products, so at the moment a single login account isn't possible.

However, you can log integrate your Google Apps account with your OnDemand instance, so all people within your company can log in with their Google Account, and use this same account for Bitbucket. (Bitbucket also supports non Google Apps accounts).

If JIRA and Confluence are in the same OnDemand instance, then you will only need a single login for both. Fisheye/Crucible will always need their own login now that they've been removed from OnDemand.

Indeed as Timothy pointed out you can also host the apps locally and use Crowd to get a single login for all.

Cheers,

Ivan.

That sounds about right. Other than that, you can get all the apps and host it yourself.
