How do I go back to the old Jira UI?

Specifically I would like the Project Dashboard view, where I can see multiple breakdowns of open issues on one page (issues by assignee, issues by component, issues by version, issues by status, issues by type)

Hello!

You can try to disable the new project navigation interface but this option might not be available for your and, if so, I would recommend you to contact the administrator of your JIRA instance and, if you are the administrator, I would recommend you to contact the Atlassian Support.

I'm not sure if you will be able to have back what you are looking for; but I think you can have some really similar features with filters and dashboards.
