Recommended bandwidth for Stash and Bitbucket?

Mosh August 26, 2015

Hello

Assuming I install on-premise Windows 2008 R2 server, including 16GB RAM and 3Mbit upload rate. Do you think it's good enough to support Stash and Bitbucket customers that want to access their files over the internet?

(I'm not asking about local users that use the LAN but about external users that access through the WAN \ Internet).

Thank you

Unfortunately this is a question that cannot be answered without more information. Whether this is sufficient depends on the number of concurrent users, the size of files that are typically being uploaded as part of a push to a repository etc. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Scaling+Stash tries to give enough information that depending on your expected usage you should be able to tell whether this is likely to be sufficient or not. Hope this helps.

Should I ask it directly to support \ pre-sale team somehow? If so can you tell me how to?
