Hi - being a watcher on an issue, we do not seem to receive email notifications when the status of an issue is changed from Ready for Deployment to Deployed.

Hi Mariola,

Previous answer is in regards to removing an unwanted email - I think you mean that you want to receive a notification but are not, correct?

There are two things to check - the first is your workflow.  Look at the transition and check the Post Functions section.  The last one listed will most likely be the event that is being fired, and it is probably "Generic Event".

Then, check your notification scheme associated with the project and check that "Generic Event" (or if another event was listed for the post function, check that) is associated with "Watchers".  If it's not, that would be why you didn't receive the email.  Note that by default almost all transitions in a workflow use this "Generic Event", so if you don't want notifications those but you just want one for this transition, you might want to create a new custom event and then edit the post function to use that instead.

Hello Mariola,
You can go to your workflow settings and take the post function notification out from the transition between Ready and Deployment to Deployed, so it won't trigger any email notification when it transitions from these status

You want to say that the Mariola should check the post-function of the transition if it is firing the correct event and that event has an associated notification to it, not actually remove the post function notification :)

Assuming that all notifications are being sent with no problems (Firing the correct event and the event is associated with the notification) and you just want to remove a single notification from a Status to another, remove what's is firing the notifications is also a choice or customize as a custom event as the user preferences.

The OP wants to know why they are not receiving the email. not actually remove like Natalie pointed out.
