Hi,
I've installed crowd on a newly installed server. As a proxy I use nginx but I tried accessing crowd directly on his port and I get the same thing.
So, when I try to log in I get:
2015-08-14 11:43:32,347 http-bio-8095-exec-23 ERROR [crowd.console.action.Login] Failed to connect to the authentication server, please check your crowd.properties
org.springframework.security.authentication.AuthenticationServiceException: The application.name or application.password in the crowd.properties file does not match the password in Crowd.
I've tried this but with no sucess:
Can someone please help me?
If you need more info, I'll provide whatever I have.
Thanks

Hi Vedran,
Have you tried this documentation or this one?
Hi Vedran,
As you have already tried to configure the password in the file, once we have a redirection, can you check if the URL of the crowd.properties file does match with the current base URL value for Crowd? Also, can you check if you manually change both passwords to match will have some difference for the issue?
In addition to that, as this is affecting the usability of the instance, you can consider raising a new ticket in our support channel (https://support.atlassian.com), so we can troubleshoot the case.
Kind Regards,
