I can add the field, however I see in other places that you should set the default value to e.g. assignee:name.
I can't seem to see where you set the default value, or anything beyond a sentence describing this part of the utility.
Ideally, I'd like this to show the reporters Company (custom attribute) in the ticket.

John,
You can use user properties in conditions or copy them to issue fields using another plugins such as Workflow PowerBox
Hello Robert, Could you elaborate on 'user properties in conditions' or is that part of the Workflow Power-box? I was hoping that there would be a solution without adding another paid-for add on, since they appear to be stacking up at the moment, Thanks

John, User Properties is just text entry stored in JIRA database next to another entries (see database table propertyentry). Properties are just something like a bucket for everything that don't fit elsewhere. User Properties don't have any special meaning and I think they were created "just in case". Workflow PowerBox delivers one condition and two post functions operating on User Properties. Below you can find links to the documentation: User property value Condition (https://coresoftlabs.atlassian.net/wiki/display/WPB/User+property+value) Set issue field from user property value Post Function (https://coresoftlabs.atlassian.net/wiki/display/WPB/Set+issue+field+from+user+property+value) Set user property value Post Function (https://coresoftlabs.atlassian.net/wiki/display/WPB/Set+user+property+value) Cheers, Robert
