Require help in customizing JIRA Version details view

Hi All,

We need your help in customizing JIRA Version Detail View in JIRA,Can someone help us on the below issues.

1) No feasibility to configure fields in version details view ?

On selecting a version in version detail view currently system will show fields like P, T, Key, Summary, Assignee, Status fields. But we don’t have any option to configure the fields in this view. Is it possible to have an option to hide or add fields in this view?

2) Can we have an option to have or remove Version Merge Functionality in JIRA Tool?

In Manage versions view system has an option to MERGE versions but is it possible to Hide or Disable or remove this Button/Functionality?

3) How to remove Release Notes link in Version Detail View?

Is it possible to remove or disable the Release Notes Hyper Link in Version Details View ?

Kindly suggest us possbile solutions/workarounds for the above customizations in JIRA Version Details

I don't think there's a way to add fields to that version screen, the point of the screen is an overview, rather than a detailed working view.   You'll need to hack the core code to add fields there, and for the downgrades for 2 and 3.

It would probably be better to explain why you think you want to do this
