Can I open up Confluence Questions to anonymous users just like I can do with Confluence Spaces?

Jeffry van de Vuurst November 21, 2013

I would like to allow anonymous access to Confluence Questions. I know I can do this with Confluence Spaces, but I cannot find an option for Confluence Answers.

Hi Jeffry,
At the moment users must be logged in to use Confluence Questions so anonymous users will not see questions in search results and will not be able to ask or view questions. There is an open feature request to ask that we add access for anonymous users in a future release of CQ and therefore I would recommend that you watch/vote/comment on the issue to encourage our developers to add this functionality in a future release: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-270
All the best,
John

Ideally I would like anonymous users to be able to ask, answer and vote on questions. Turn it into a user community.

Do you want to allow anonymous users to ask and answer questions and vote, etc? Or is it sufficient to just have them view questions?

the Ability to ask questions would be nice, required they provide an email.
