Having an issue with notification e-mails. They don't seem to be firing off in the way that I would expect.
Here's an example of what we're trying to do: The way our workflow for bugs is set up, for example, a developer has the option of declining a bug. This puts the bug into status "Bug Invalid" and assigns the bug back to the issue reporter.
What I want is for the new assignee to get a notification e-mail, but this doesn't happen. We have a notification set up for "issue Assigned" in the notification scheme (doesn't cause an e-mail to fire on transition), and we changed "Fire Generic Event" to "Fire Issue Assigned" event in the transition post conditions. Neither seems to be producing the desired effects.
Anyone have a recommendation for how to address this issue?
Could you please check for the "Issue Assigned" or "Fire Issue Assigned" event has included the "Assignee" in the notification scheme to accept the notification? It seems to be working now. User error - I was using the wrong workflow in my test environment so I wasn't seeing the updates from the new triggers. Thanks for the help.
