JIRA can't be accessed

Jirong Hu July 28, 2015

When I access our usual test environment at: https://sitjira.cppib.ca:9443/, it says web page not available. Yesterday I installed a new qTest plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.qas.qtest.plugins.jira-plugin), then QA was testing its integration with QASymphony, then somehow it's not working now.

Below is the apache log, nothing in my JIRA log folder /opt/jira/jirahome/log. How to troubleshoot this? Is there a way to remove the plugin without JIRA running?

Hello Jirong,

There sure is. Depending on what version you are running the jar file should be jira-plugin-<version number>.jar located in <jirahome>/installed-plugins/plugins. You can move that file out of that folder and start JIRA again. I'm not sure if you are still haven this issue. However see the KB article Add-on's tips and tricks for future reference.
