Error HTTP Status 500 after Confluence installation

Dear Support Team,

I have tried to evaluate Confluence but after installation got error: HTTP status 500

and multiple lines like:

Alex: This can be caused by a user not having permission to the plugins-osgi-cache directory or some corruption in the cache directory.

  1. Verify that Confluence has stopped
  2. Delete the felix folder in C:\Program Files\Atlassian\Application Data\Confluence\plugins-osgi-cache\
  3. Try starting Confluence

Daisy: You should either create a support issue or create your own question with detailed information.

I have the same issue with centos installation. If I stop confluence then uninstall and reinstall I never get taken back to the login page at localhost:8090

It goes straight to the error 500 page
