app links created, but not working when using anonymous access

Kevin Oleniczak October 2, 2013

I have JIRA (v5.2) and Confluence 5.0.1.
Both on the same server with different ports.

App links are established and appear in both tools using ip address and port.

When I try to add app links from the space or fromthe jira project, both indicate a similar error.

"Sorry, there are no links available when using anonymous access, check the permission configuration of the remote application."

What am i missing?

i had already tried deleting and readding the app links... no joy. Remote API was not enabled in confluence and i've enabled that, but get the same error.

From here, it seems like re-creating the Application links fix the issue. Also, you may want to check whether Remote API is enabled in General Configuration of Confluence. Btw, is there anything in the logs?
