Hi,

I want to add some information fields to be added when creating a page based on the Decision Blueprint, but I don't get this field to show on the form displayed when creating a decision page. The form seems to be locked to the fields from the original template.

The template variable I created works in the way that if I fill in this cell in the table after the page is created I will see this on the decision register but without the option of drop-down values.

Is it supopsed to be possible to alter the form in the Decision Blueprint from the Space Template menu in Space Admin?

Rgrds,

// Svante

It isn't currently possible to add custom variables and then have fields for them display in the corresponding blueprints wizard.

We have a feature request open for a blueprints builder, including the ability to customise what appears in the form. You might want to watch, vote for or comment on that. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-31569

It is now mid 2016 and the feature is still not implemented. I'm using the cloud version and like you guys have said, I added a new variable and it's not showing up in the decision log nor in the popup for data entry. Shame it's taking so long for something that should have be intuitive.

If you have the option to edit a template that is primarily composed of variables then it only makes sense that someone will add more variables and expect to see them work.

Hi,

Our Add-on Page Tree Creator works a bit different than the Confluence blueprints / templates. The PTC-templates are based on normal confluence pages. So creating your PTC-templates is as simple as creating a Confluence page.

Create then pages by clicking a PTC-button or choosing the menu item, fill out the form and the page gets created.

And the best is, it here now. You don't have to wait for an update.

Try our Live Examples (no registration needed).

Marketplace link: Page Tree Creator.

Regards,
Stephan

Exact same problem for us! We want to add a decision type to the create a decision wizard. That would be great if someone from Atlassian could jump in!

But I've not been able to display the new field in the decision registrer. Did you have to something apart from adding the field in the page properties of the decision blueprint template?

I'm also having trouble adding new form fields to the Decision blueprint.

We've made a number of basic layout changes that work fine but not the form fields.

If I preview the change when editing the blueprint the new variable and input is there but not on newly created Decisions.

If anyone has got this working would be great to hear.

In case its relevant we are using the OnDemand version of Confluence.

I'm having the same if not a very similar issue. I was able to get the needed fields added in the blueprint, I am able to display those fields on the register listing, and I'm able to edit the details of the field after the devision is created but I'm unable to figure out how to capture my new fields upon creation of a new decision record - using "Track Another Decision". I would think there would be a way to do so as having to create a record and then edit the record isn't very user friendly.

Anyone have any ideas?
