jira issues macro doesn't render tables or issues

Paul Kröner August 19, 2013

Hi,

since the update to confluence 5.2.3 the jira issues macro doesn't render any tables or issues anymore. The application links are set up and are working. Jira is showing the activity stream including confluence activity correctly. In confluence I can setup the macro where I see the jira issues correctly according to the search string I enter, but when I save the page the table stays empty. Also linking single issues only displays the issue ID (like bla-001) but nothing else.

I don't see any errors in the log and don't know where to start looking for the problem.

I've ran into similiar issues, does creating a new jira-issues table render? Or just old tables? I would try and take the URL that the macro is using to populate and entering it into the browser and making sure it still works.

Also, try upgrading the Jira-Macros plugin through the UPM.

Hope this helps a little.

Thanks, I didn't have the latest version of the plugin (5.0.2) and it is obviously also not deployed with confluence 5.2.3 (why?). Also the pluginmanager didn't show the update. But it works now!
