confluence drop down menu not working

When I deploy my plugin the Confluence drop down menu stops working, the problem occurs in Chrome & Firefox and is intermittent. No Javascript errors are reported in the console. We are using Confluence Version 5.8.4  and Java 8.

On our Dev environment the top menu works just fine although this environment has very little content on it.

Can anybody help or suggest some things to try?

Hi, Just to let you know I found the cause of this error, it was some Javascript that was calling the jquery .off() method to deregister event listeners but was not restricted to a specific selector and was removing other event listeners also.

Does your plugin come with any css or javascript? Can you check logs in confluence-data/logs/atlassian-confluene.log and see if anythings happens after installing the plugin?
