Hi,
How secure are my data on Confluence? I don't mean from prying eyes. I mean secure from data loss.
Confluence is great for keeping track of project documentation, version control and other matters, but it would be disatrous to loose months of work if something went wrong. Somewhere it is said that one can dispense with on-line storage and even e-mail, because Confluence provides everything that's needed.
But does it offer backup? Is there a way to synchronize Confluence files to my computer?
Thanks.
Confluence has its own backup mechanism (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Site+Backup+and+Restore). The rest is up to you. Whether you want to do a full CONF_HOME backup, database backup, VM backup, etc.
