Making macro created content searchable.

Taron Sargsyan June 30, 2015

Hi

I have macro which puts some content into page with iframe, however I have some data which I would like to set somewhere for search to index it and find pages where users inserted my macro. The issue is not to find all pages where my macro is used but to find with keywords I set. I have tried to put text into hidden div with display:none, or putting it with width and height equals to 0, and other tricks. Confluance wont index the data on hidden containers.

Thanks

Taron

anyone with similar experience? I have tried to implement it through page labels but at the end was blocked by https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-33792 issue because of label size gets really big.

just to mention, when macro inserts regular div with normal sizes etc, it is being indexed and searchable
