How to deactive the users who are not working in the company

Hi, how to deactive the users who are not working in the company while they are still component leads on some projects. How to deactive them without reasigning other users as the relevant component leads?

If the users are in the internal directory, an admin can deactivate them under user management. if not, remove them from the groups that grants 'Browse Users' permission.

Note that you still have to change the component leads as they are used in automatic assignment.

Thank you. So let me confirm that I could not deactive these users directly if I do not reassign other users as the relevant component leads, right?
