Jira on local Server and Add-On on another Server?

Christian Schulze June 29, 2015

Hello,

is it even possible to run a JIRA instance on a server in our local network and run a Add-On on another server which runs in the JIRA Instance as an Add-On?

By another server, I mean another physical machine, other IP and so on.

regards

 Chris

Atlassian Connect add ons are currently only available on Atlassian Cloud. For BTF right now you'd have to use p2 add ons.

Christian,

That's not possible with a single installation of JIRA. If you want features like load-balancing between instances, I suggest you take a look at JIRA Data Center.

No I don't mean two instances of Jira. I mean a Jira Instance on one server, and my Add-On on another Server . Like the description here https://developer.atlassian.com/static/connect/docs/latest/index.html
