does bamboo require an aws account?

Title states it all...do we HAVE to have an AWS account in order to use Bamboo? If so, it should force the user to login to their AWS account first before letting them sign up for something they cannot even use...

In any case, I'm attempting to configure it and each time I try to create a new plan it takes me to the AWS integration screen...

At the moment, yes, you need to have an AWS account. This is described on our documentation:
