SourceTree - Browse Hosted Repositories on Windows version

Mike Berlin June 10, 2013

Hello,

I've been using SourceTree on the Mac for awhile and I love it. However, I'm starting to work on some MVC 4 ASP.NET sites that we're using BitBucket and the Windows version of SourceTree. In the Mac version I am able to browse my BitBucket account under the Hosted Projects section of the app. However, I am not able to see this functionality in the Windows version. Is there in another location within the Windows version or is this not included?

If it's not included is there a plan to add this feature? It is very helpful (and time saving) to be able to clone a repo from my BitBucket and/or GitHub account directly through SourceTree. This would be a great time saver for me.

Thanks,
Mike

The Windows version is still catching up with the Mac, but Hosted Repositories support is definitely on the TODO list: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-70

When trying to use this feature in the latest version 1.3.1 it seems to be stuck at Checking Password on the add/edit screen for a bitbucket account. It never fails or succeeds, just sits there spinning.

Clicking OK (on add/edit dialogue) and refreshing the Hosted Repositories just causes the Hosted Repositories dialogue to sit there spinning.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? The password is definately correct as i successfully used it to log into bitbucket via the web

Any timeframe on this feature? I too am just starting to use SourceTree on Windows, and this functionality saves a lot of time for me when I'm on mac.
