How do i set the default JIRA comment tab to "Internal Comments"?

In all my JIRA tickets,

when i goto add a comment  - it defaults to "Respond to Customer".

How do i set it to always default to "Internal Comment"?

Damn, I was hoping it would be easier than that. I'm surprised there isn't an easier way. Well, if that's the only way to solve the issue. thanks

According to your screenshot this is Jira Service Desk, not JIRA.

We are using Service Desk but we edit the tickets in JIRA. Or as a newb am i totally not getting it!!!

The guide mentioned above is to change the default tab from Comments to All in Jira. You are asking for a different thing and it relates to JSD.

I found another users question that looks the same as mine: How to change default tab to internal comment : https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/12287734/how-to-change-default-tab-to-internal-comment They aren't mentioning a result yet - but seem close. The only trouble is they mention scripts - I'm a newb about the script stuff.

There is a new Add-On available. It is called Doublecheck for JIRA Service Desk and is available at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.accxia.sd.plugins.tailor.tailorman-sd-confirm/server/overview

It is not changing the default behaviour. Instead, for better user experience it simply adds a confirmation dialog whenever a user is about to send a comment to external customers.

how it works if we sent a comment through email? will it be wait in the Jira Service Desk to confirm manually?
