CSV Table Export Macro -- Specifing Export File Name

Ken Fields June 4, 2015

Is there any way to specify the name of the csv file that is created when exporting a table?  Currently it appears that the only name is "table.csv".  This causes problems in sql as "SELECT * FROM TABLE" (as table is a reserved word).  Additionally without any way for the user to specify a name, you wind up with table.csv, table(1).csv, table(2).csv, etc.

Using the id parameter would certainly be one way to handle this without needing to create additional parameters, although this doesn't address saving the table multiple times.  For example appending a timestamp.

Perhaps there is another macro that can surround the CSV Table Export macro.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sorry I did not realise, I had to add this tag to my watchlist to get notified about questions.

I added a checkbox that enables you to select the table-id as filename. So check it out if you want and tell me if it works wink

And thank you very much for your feedback.
