Hi,

Is there an easy way to trigger another bamboo build from a bamboo build project and pass it a build number like 2.00.00.001.

When we have a full build finish up, we would like to trigger another bamboo project that is the deploy of that build.  We need to keep the build project separate from the deploy project so we can deploy an older build if needed.   The deploy project uses a global variable that contains the full deploy.buildnumber (eg, 2.00.00.001)

Today, I have a bamboo build triggering a teamcity deploy project through the use of REST API in teamcity.

Lance, you have the right idea - about triggering a deployment from a build.  A Bamboo deployment project can be configured to be triggered after a successful build plan.  Have you looked at the deployment capabilities in Bamboo?  Here's the documentation page for Bamboo deployment projects.  See if it guides you in the right direction.  Let me know if you want more details after reading about deployment projects.
