Groovy script for linking issue based on custom field entry

Scenario:

For each software release we create a release issue that tracks what items will be in a release. The items we are releasing have a field (Target Release Date) populated with the date of the release. On a nightly basis, I want a script to execute that will clear the links on the release issue (To prevent duplicates) and then link all issues that have a certain Target Release Date to the release issue with the linkissuetype of Release.

Ex.

Release issue: ACC-1111 - Production REL June 2015

Isues with Target Release Date of 2015-06-10: ACC-1051, ACC-1053

ACC-1111 linked to ACC-1051 and ACC-1053 as link issue type Release.

That night, those links are deleted and new links established based on the same criteria.
