We are working on implementing the Structure plugin. We have a filter syncronization. Filter first said project = xxx and status != closed. Then we did the syncronization.

After that we added "issuetype not in subtaskissuetype()" for the filter.

We also have an issue link syncronization. All issues from all projects with a certain link type (parent/child) should be included in the structure.

We have some challenges

  1. Closed issues are shown even after resync (they are shown as done). Closed issues in the xxx project that is.
  2. Sub-tasks that where added to the structure in the first sync are not removed when running a resync

is the syncronization of filter not working as it should or have we not understod the functionality.

Hi Susanne,

Is the 'Remove from structure issues that don't pass the filter' option checked in the Filter Syncrhonizer's settings?

You might also need to uncheck the 'Remove only from where added issues are placed' option:

1. When both the parent (in the filter) and the child (not in filter only linked issue) are closed they are removed from the structure view. - Not sure if this is correct behaviour but customer is satisfied. 2. We did a new structure which did not include the sub-tasks from the beginning so now it works.

You're very welcome, Susanne! Re. synchronizer behaviour - just to be sure, I've asked support to contact you and help check that the configuration is right, I hope you don't mind :)
