REST API - move & sub-task

Hi guys,

for peace of mind, I need to ask you if it's possible in REST API(or SOAP-I know it will be deprecated) move Issue to another project or change Issue Type from Task to Sub-taks(and fill Parent Issue of course)?

Until yet I resolved this situation by deleting old Issue and creating new Issue with the same field values, but this isn't ideally because of Attachments, Comments, History, Work Logs ... Any ideas?

It is not possible because Move, convert to subtask etc does more than one operations and needs user inputs during the process in some cases.

Did you try editing the issuetype alone if all the fields are same? I don't know if the UPDATE allows that.
