New User: Setting Up Global Template Questions

I'm setting up my first global template (I have confluence 5 ondemand). The purpose of this template is to force (or force as much as possible) all end users to create documentation that is formatted consistently across our organization. Below are my questions:

1. I want to implement an "outline" format so if a user has a section "I" and then indents to a subsection "a" it will put all sections in a grid format (similar to a table but I don't want the gridlines). What would be the best way to accomplish this?

2. For screenshots, can I add circles, colored text, arrows, bubbles, callouts, etc to a screenshot from within Confluence? If so, how do I approach this?

3. This is embarrassing, but how do I change the size and font of text. I see a color button, bold, etc but no font/size of text option?

4. Any way to add a footer that will show the url of the page (if i printed this out)?

5. Any way to add a footer that will show the "bread crumbs" path (ie, documentation/finance/instructions")?

6. Can you use a template to force font sizes/colors/font style, etc?

I know this is a lot but I'm finding it difficult to find these answers on any of the documentation. Thanks a lot for the help! :)

for the next time: Please open multiple threads, because nobody will find the answers I give you in futur!

1. That's pretty cool. Confluence is not able to do that with all the shipped features. You need plugins. And you need money to buy them. It seems the K15t Scroll Versions Plug-in, escpecially the Conditional Content feature is what you are looking for. I never used it but heard that the plug-in is nifty. I'd solve that with CustomWare Scaffolding. You need to buy some plug-ins if you want to do a lot of customisation. Think twice before you install/buy plug-ins, they have to work together and sometimes you get conflicts. And sometimes two macros do quity the same things, so you need to think which one is better for your needs.

3. Create a theme. Or inject some overruling CSS (dirty, but usable).

Thanks for the help. This is really depressing. I use onDemand as I don't receive any IT support internally so everything mentioned in #1 is not possible. Gliffy looks like it may work. 3 is not possible unless I know css or dont use ondemand. I keep finding that almost all answers to my questions are no. I'm starting to understand why the software is so cheap. You can't even do very very basic things without customization. It feels like buying excel but needing to customize it to write a formula. Anyways, thanks again for the assistance

Hi Adam,

as you mentioned, Scroll Versions is not yet integrated in Atlassian OnDemand.
There already is an improvement request in the AOD JIRA: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AOD-4869

Please vote for the improvement, to make the Scroll Plugins available in AOD.
