favorites extention doesnt work when global-entities-panel is disabled using subspaces instead

red sonja April 18, 2013

i'm using the subspace macro and need on the dashboard the subspace overview - ist better than the default spaces view because you can see the hierarchical order. but when i disbale the standard spaces list on the dashboard by disabling the global-entities-panel, the favorite extention donesn't work any more. also it's not possible to mark any pages as favorites.

has anybody maybe allready found a solution to this?

the main point is: i'd like to have the subspaces overview on the dashboard INSTEAD of the default on AND i'd love to use the favorite extention (fav. dropdown menue).

thanks a lot!!

by upgrading to conf 5 the problem isn't actual anymore, because the plugin doesn't support confl. 5 - what really is a pitty!!! :(

This might be a bit late, but Sonja, you could enable the "global-entities-panel' enabled and use custom HTML to hide the default space list.

For exapmle:

<style type="text/css">
div#spaces-pane div.space-list-section.entity-list-section.global-spaces-section
{display:none;}
</style>

I tried to understand the problem but I could't reproduce it. Can you please provide these additional information: the SubSpace version you are using and your Confluence version?
