Can I hook up a mysql database to my local jira test instance using tomcat?

Chris Stamp May 21, 2015

I am developing a  JIRA plugin locally and I need to set up a local database  in my local MYSQL server  to persist data there. Can I do this with a test instance of jira?  Is there documentation about this?

Hi Wells,

In addition, here you can find the documentation related to create a staging environment:

Hello Wells,

Yes! You may use this https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+JIRA+to+MySQL document as reference.
