is the modification to JIRA Atlassian confirg proeprties file applicable for REST API as well?

Hi,

We are developing the plug-in connector for Atlassian JIRA and one of our client tools. We need to consider BULK API in the scope for development. During investigation, we came across https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/How+to+edit+the+jira-config.properties+file

Please confirm if this is applicable for JIRA REST API since we are harnessing the REST API for integration with our client tools.

Any pointers would be helpful.

Thanks,

Pooja Gurjar

Sorry, this makes no sense.  The config file configures JIRA.  The REST API lets you talk to JIRA from the outside.

Apart from the settings file making JIRA behave in certain ways that you might need to take account of in your REST calls, there's not really any relationship between them.

Could you explain what you are trying to do and why you think they might be related?

The answer is yes. Else, just write your own properties file.
