I have a 'Bug' that is in Resolved status and Resoultion is Done, but on my Knaban board I have a button 'Move to Done'. When I click the button I am getting this message:
'All sub-tasks for parent issue are now Done.
However, the parent issue cannot be moved into the Done column as there are no matching transitions.'
Any idea why I am getting it?
Hi Boris,
I believe the problem here is that in the workflow associated to the parent issue, there is a transition missing. Greenhopper checks the workflows and transitions available, so to be able to move an issue to the Done column, there should be a transition available that takes the parent issue from the status it is now to the status mapped on the Done column. For example, if the parent issue is currently on "Open"status and the status associated to the Done column is Resolved, so it needs to exist a transition in the workflow that transition issues from Open to Resolved, and that's what I believe it is missing.
Hope thi helps!
Cheers,
Clarissa.
Thank you Clarissa. You are reight the problem is not having transition form Open to Resolved.

Is there anyway to disable this message or stop greenhopper from trying to do a transition for the parent issue?

Hi Renjith. Resolved status mapped to 'Done' column on the board. I am not aware of mapping between statuses in workflow and 'done' column. Could you clarify?
