We have several Spaces that are no longer actively used. We'd like them not to appear on the Dashboard - but, we don't want to delete them and their contents.
Is there a way to accomplish this type of "archiving"?
Thanks!
Hi Dave,
Editting my comment:
It seems that we had a feature request for this in our bug tracker: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-3921
It was fixed recently in Confluence 4.3 which added the functionality to the application:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Archiving+a+Space
Additionally there is a plugin which can add the functionality as well:
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.midori.confluence.plugin.archiving
I hope this helps you :)
Regards,
Rodrigo
So, if I understand the issue in the bug tracker - Atlassian considers it "fixed" because a 3rd party plugin provides the functionality...
Which, I take it, means Atlassian is not going to make this core functionality of the application?
That's disappointing, given the cost of the plugin, which is not insignificant.
