Can i change the contents in text gadget of a dashboard and reflect those changes into other text gadget in another dashboard ?

I am currently using a text gadget in  dashboard-1 and i have some data (HTML tags) in it and now i want another text gadget in dashboard-2 to have the same content but i want the users to have permission to only modify text gadget in dashboard-1 and those changes to be reflected in gadget 2, how can we achieve this functionality . Can i copy the gadget from one dashboard to another ?

As I understanda Gadget 1 and Gadget 2 are gadgets developed by you. In this case Gadget 1 can store into persistence storage (PluginSettings or ActiveObjects) and Gadget 2 read from this storage.

Yes, you'd need to write gadgets that read/write a common data store (not "copy")

Hi @Volodymyr Krupach The gadget that i am using in the dashboards is a text gadget which has some static html content that can be changed, now this gadget-1 is in dashboard-1 but i dont want users to have edit permission to dashboard-1 , so i want to give users only the permission to edit the text gadget-2 in dashboard - 2 so that those changes are reflected into the gadget-1 of dashboard -1. so do i need to develop a text gadget plugin for using active objects or how ?
