Can you link a JIRA issue to a Confluence Question?

We know that you can link Confluence Pages to JIRA issues

We haven't found a way to link JIRA issues to Confluence Questions. We're using Confluence Questions as a product suggestion/review for our client facing teams, and then our Product team creates JIRA issues. We'd like to be able to link relevant JIRA issues to these Confluence Questions. Is this possible or can we add it to the roadmap?

Unfortunately, there is no ability to link Confluence Questions to JIRA issues Currently. There is a bug ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-1790opened for this currently. I'd suggest voting on the issue so that it becomes more visible.

Hi Theresa, This is what we are running into as well. It's not exactly the same as the bug that Brian mentions in his answer though. Did you raise a bug for your request and can you let me know so I can vote on it too? It's expected functionality because it says Link to a Confluence page, and our users consider a question page to be just that.
