Empty "Linked issues" column with JIRA issue macro on Confluence

Philippe Robichaud April 23, 2015

Hi there,

I have a strange behaviour on Confluence using JIRA issue macro. Here are JQL queries I used on two different pages where I'm trying to display the "Linked issues" column:

Situation #1: project = "A" ORDER BY Status DESC,created DESC

Situation #2: project = "B" ORDER BY status DESC, createdDate DESC

In situation #1, I can easily see the column "Linked issues" with the data I expect to get. But in situation #2, column "Linked issues" is absolutely empty while it shouldn't be when trying it right into JIRA.

Any idea what can cause this issue?

Thanks!

Thanks Steven. We are actually running Confluence 5.7 (build 5780).

I cannot reproduce this on Confluence 5.7.1. Can you list what version of Confluence you are on? You are likely going to need to head to support.atlassian.com because I think this is a bug.

Sorry for the confusion. For situation #1, there is data in Linked issues column either in Jira Or Confluence through Jira issue macro. In situation #2, Linked issues column has data in Jira but not on Confluence with Jira issue macro. I hope this is more clear that way!

For #2, when you say that it shouldn't be, do you mean that it is empty or is not empty when done in JIRA?
