Aggregate artifacts into single package with Bamboo

Lynn Walker April 22, 2015

In a project with four plans, each with a build that produces an artifact, how would I aggregate the four artifacts into a single package for deployment? I've read the documentation related to artifact sharing but I haven't seen anything that mentions combining artifacts. Can this be done, and if so, what is the best way?

Hello Lynn,

Thank you for your question.

Based on the information provided, it would be required the share the artifact among the four plans you have:

  • Plan A produces and Artifact A
  • Plan B downloads Artifact A and generates Artifact B
  • Plan C downloads Artifact B and generates Artifact C
  • Plan D downloads Artifact C and generates Artifact D

Then, you can create a Deployment from Plan D that has all artifacts.

If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.

Thank you for your understanding.
