Escalation service of script runner plug-in add comment

Hi all,

I want add comment with "escalation service of script runner plug-in" but I can't. I don't want doing anything action only add comment but in the log appear a error:

In the log appear error perrmission edit issue but I don't want edit issue only add comment. Is this possible?

Hi Mark,

I don't believe this answers this case. The answer you point to is regards to the escalation service adding a comment when performing an action. This question is about adding a comment when no action is being performed.  I'm having the same problem where the comment isn't added when action is set to none.
