I'd really like to add a table to my Confluence with an automatically up-to-date listing of products and latest versions and maybe a link to release notes. It would make it a lot easier to plan upgrades.
Marketplace has a REST API, example: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/rest/1.0/applications/JIRA
To get the latest version: https://marketplace.atlassian.com//rest/1.0/applications/jira/latest
You could build a confluence macro around that, or have something that checks that periodically and builds a confluence page.
Jamie's answer gave me the idea to create this live page: Atlassian Product Versions.

Very nice! For a bonus you could link to the release notes, you can infer the url from the version ID, eg https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/JIRA+3.0+Release+Notes.

Yes, good idea. I did it for JIRA and Confluence for now. Stash doesn't follow the same standard.
