Can the comments be re-indexed in Subversion ALM plugin

Alexis Denis April 10, 2015

Hi,

We have changed comments in SVN after commit. The Sunversion ALM plugin sees the changed comments but the issues in JIRA don't. Is there any way to trigger a re-link between the JIRA issues and the snv comments?

Alexis

Hi Alexis,

I found there's a bug describing that JIRA doesn't pick the changes properly on log messages: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/SVN-59. I'm just not sure if it also applies for the plugin you use or only for the JIRA Subversion Plugin. Either way, it may use the same resources, so I'd suggest you to watch the bug to track its progress.

Testing locally I was able to have the changes updated by removing and re-adding the repository - if you opt by this, you will notice it will be added as a new repository. You may also want to get in touch with the plugin vendor, suggesting some sorte of re-index feature.

Regards,
